Modernism Inc.: Naomie Kremer - Signtlines, A Survey Exhibition of Works from 1993-2013.
Review by RWM: Beautiful assemblages evoke the floral and experiences in the garden. Special treat for the botanists who probably cannot identify the plants like the rest of us. Great melding of the representative and the abstract. One does not think of Monet even though the work could be considered Impressionism of sorts.
Comment by AB: Complex invigorating abstractions by Naomie Kremer immerse viewers in pure delight and joy. Plus a number of them contain embedded semi-representational elements. Nary a dull moment here-- it's almost like her art is alive. Highly recommended.

Mark Wolfe Contemporary Art: Eric Finzi - FEEL.
Comment by AB: Well, this is strange. Eric Finzi, a plastic surgeon and author of the book, "The Face of Emotion - How Botox Affects Our Mood and Relationships," essays on the travails of one particular patient, Augustine. Interesting work and worth a perusal. As for Botox-- if that's what you think you need to affect your mood and relationships, then something's seriously amiss.

Comment by AB: A conceptual look at historical artifacts and contemporary reproductions courtesy of Colpa artists, Luca Antonucci and Carissa Potter. Ghostly images of famous paintings are overlaid with titles printed in modern fonts, sculptures and architectural elements are printed on monotone backgrounds, unknown objects are hidden beneath camouflage enclosures, and more. Nicely done.
