Don Soker Gallery: Topher Delaney - The Queen's Croquet Ground.
Comment by AB: Award-winning landscape architect, environmental artist, builder, former member of the San Francisco Arts Commission, and so on and so forth ad infinitum-- Topher Delaney shows she's more than qualified and capable of filling a really large gallery space with art as well. Painting, sculpture, installation, rocks, logs, wheels, marble, stuffed animals, wrought iron, text, sculpture, photography, soap, rope, you name it; it's all right here!

Modernism Gallery: Naomie Kremer - Multiverse; Olivier O. Olivier - Paintings.
Review by RWM: Hard not to appreciate the surrealistic works of Olivier O. Olivier. Some are in fact unusual self-portraits. His characters include fantastical creatures and dinosaurs. Also experience the resurgence of nature, a craving for the natural world which takes on strange forms. Ultimately be inundated by the sound of piano music which roars like the ocean, and continually surprised by the unexpected.
The multiverse of Naomie Kremer is also vast and impressive. Beautiful colors collide and proliferate.
Comment by AB: I have no idea where Olivier O. Olivier spends his vacations, but I want to go there! Pick of First Thursday. Indubitably worth seeing.
In the front gallery, get jacked on Naomie Kremer's extravagant impassioned abstractions. Nobody's gonna go melancholy around these babies-- let me assure you.

Gallery at 1000 Van Ness: Misha Frid - Exquisite Harmony.
Review by RWM: Nice to see the beautiful figures of Misha Frid. The sculptures and paintings resonate and please. His human forms are stylized and wonderful; their gestures, vibrant and heartfelt. One may well find them uplifting.
