The McLoughlin Gallery: Eight Strikes of a Wild Cat - Jeff Muhs.
Review by RWM: Cats painting? That would be rare and hard to miss. Great abstracts that explode on the canvas. The large sizes are impressive, seemingly scratched on in places. Fun and moving regardless.

Ramon's Tailor: Gravity, A Fact Everybody Knows About - Cara Levine.
Comment by AB: A three-channel video installation gives a shout-out to the connections between "between what we know and what we search to know, between fantasy and reality, the ground and what lays beyond."

SMAart Gallery & Studio: Socially Conscious Abstraction. Curated by Jennifer Brazelton.
Artists: Steve Allen, Jennifer Brazelton, Cameron Crawford, Shenny Cruces, Pancho Jiménez, Tiffany Schmierer, Shannon Sullivan, Sue Whitmore.
Comment by AB: This group show of quality work by admirably talented ceramic artists purports to proffer perspectives on various aspects of life and reality as it is. Sometimes those perspectives are evident; other times guidance is in order.
