Gallery Heist: End Of This World Tour - An Art Show About A Road Trip, Introducing the art duo Sparkles Positron and D23 Electron (aka Julianne Yates and Damon Soule).
Comment by AB: The world is about to end, and what better way to end it than by immersion in this mystical multi-altar atmospheric installation, with ceremonies scheduled to last right up until annihilation time at 3:11am. The plot line has our intrepid explorers, Sparkles Positron and D23 Electron, wandering 30 of our 50 great states in a last ditch effort to experience as much of everything as they possibly can, and then constructing this admirable artistic opus as a monument to that-- all just in time for the calamitous apocalyptic flare out.
At the last minute, however, the countenance of The Great Whatever has apparently smiled down upon us and saved our miserable lowly asses from a fate worse than fate in a wickedly sarcastic stay of sentence. "How so?" you ask. Probably in order to watch us do it to ourselves thanks to our pathetically entrenched asshole politicians who care far more about abstract philosophical principles and their own personal well-being than they will ever ever care about the day-to-day lives we who elected them (apologies for the interjection). The bottom line? Well done and worth a visit-- better experienced in person than in pictures.
Here we are. Let's have a look, shall we? OK.

Comment by AB: Those of you prone to wager on creative potentialities will encounter some eminently affordable options here (for example, good selection from $50-$250). One of the more interesting aspects of the show? Quite a bit of digital work.
