Comment by AB: In this obstreperous homage to the lame-o pop psychology industry, Terri and Gary elucidate as follows... "With countless self-help books being published and distributed (preying upon the vast array of inflated insecurities that they themselves create), T&G felt it was time to hold up a mirror to this masturbatory loop." As a former used and rare bookseller, I can testify to the fact that self-help books have little if any resale value. In other words, they're worthless pretty much from the instant they hit the bookstores. Don't believe me? You're more than welcome to thumb through the stacks of pyschobabble blather on display here.
