White Walls / Shooting Gallery: L'Avenir - A Graffuturism Group Show Curated by Poesia; Unrest - Ferris Plock; Paper Trails - ROA.
Artists of L'Avenir: Augustine Kofie (US), Borondo (Spain), Chazme (Poland), Clemens Behr (Germany), Doze Green (US), Duncan Jago (UK), Part2ism (UK), Poesia (US), Robert Proch (Poland), Sainer (Poland), Vesod (Italy).
Review by Annelies Vobis: The L'Avenir group show is based on the ancient Graffito tradition in the arts. This work ranged from simple written words to elaborate paintings, dating back to Ancient Greece. In modern times spray paint and marker pens are the most commonly used graffiti materials. L'Avenir takes us on a broad journey to the many different directions of the Graffuturism movement. From aesthetic obsessions to more meditative work, this show invites viewers to experience the vibrant and culturally rich nature of Graffiti.
Review by RWM: Amazing experience here as usual. Where does Ferris Plock come up with all these wonderful ideas for personages? There are Asian ceramic artists who once created and army of soldiers in life sized statues. These folks on the wall are different and maybe more controversial. Probably more interesting to be among them than among their ancient ceramic counterparts.
Comment by AB: In addition to Ferris Plock is a group show in the front gallery and a full room installation by ROA in the rear gallery.

Review by Anneliese Vobis: Sexually charged work in 2D mixed media confront us with a rebellious unexpected context and spirit. An honest visual diary to the chosen exhibition theme, sometimes with a certain intended shock value to the viewers.
Comment by RWM: Vivid. Candid. Exploitational. Startling. Vice.

Luna Rienne Gallery: Pattern Recognition.
Artists: David Choong Lee, Romanowski, Evan Venegas, Gianluca Franzese.
Review and images c/o Luna Rienne Gallery: In painting, collage, prints and mixed media the artists explore very different ideas in vibrant rich compositions. Complex formal layers and elements from animate/inanimate worlds are mixed with non-representational elements. Colorful geometry and abstract imagery contrast with collage and expressive portraiture experiences.
Comment by RWM: Fantastic. Amazing. Incredible. Golden Moments.
