George Lawson Gallery: Stephen Beal - Colored Linens.

Review by RWM: Great abstract work reminds us that more effort is often involved than may widely be believed. Nice compositions with interesting colors, textures and some very involved attention to detail.

Comment by AB: Fine precision pattern paintings by California College of Art President Stephen Beal may reference linen fabrics, or perhaps the linen canvases that they're painted on. Either way, these sensitive geometries work fine for me. Check 'em out.
