111 Minna Gallery: A Blind Man's Journey - Mike Davis; Passages - John Wentz.
Comment by AB: Marvel at the strange Bosch- and Bruegel-esque tales conjured by Mike Davis, embellished with contemporary flourishes like flying saucers and zeppelins, and festooned in his antiqued handmade frames. John Wentz paints up nameless unidentifiable urbanites in transit from one nebulous episode to the next. Good show. Go see.

Velvet da Vinci: Garry Knox Bennett - Full Circle.
Comment by AB: Garry Knox Bennett, the man generally credited with inventing the roach clip returns to his roots and conjures up some of the most exotic such devices you'll surely ever see. A selection of whimsical small sculptures is also on display. Worth a visit.

Review by RWM: Better than just another opportunity to eat and run. Interesting work that celebrates the desire to imbibe and consume. Such experiences are not available to everyone. Fun show that one can take home, not quite like take-out. Tasty and tasteful. Yummy things to add to the collection.
