Comment by AB: Can beautiful jewelry be made entirely out of plastic, comprised of ingredients ranging from kiddie baubles to fishing bobbers... and much much more? Find out at this most entertaining and enlightening show. (Hint: YES.) And certainly worth a visit.

Gallery 1988: Dan McCarthy - The World We Live In.
Comment by AB: Massachusetts artist Dan McCarthy tells me he applies screen print techniques to the creation of his atmospheric paintings. Pretty effective. Stop on by.

D-Structure: Nick Beery - Urban Undead.
Review by RWM, images c/o D-Structure: Decayed personages in The City by the Bay. The Halloween season has beings striving to be recognized, even if their time has passed. Not one for decomposition personally, but impressed nonetheless. You may not notice that the bodies are falling apart as they are splendidly rendered and dressed in style.
