Arc Studios & Gallery: Stephen Wagner - The Embodiment of Man.
Comment by AB: Stephen Wagner's unnerving half-man half-machine science fiction cyborgs have a throwback feel to them, but perhaps portend more where our increasingly computerized existence is taking us. Admit it. We're not quite as human as we used to be.

Live Worms Gallery: The Fall Also Rises.
Artists: Jeffrey Thompson, C.J. Ross, Will Jaggers, Rebecca Peters, Tibor Simon-Mazula, Robert Windle, Kim Haueter, Jerry Ferraz, Ronald F. Sauer, Roger Strobel, Fanny Renoir.
Comment by AB: Yet another bohemian bacchanal with art as the wellspring of kinship, mutual respect and appreciation, camaraderie and conversation. No attitude, trashing the competition, backbiting, overblown prices, vying for the top-- just good old fashioned sharing of creative undertakings and endeavors with one another. Nowhere else in San Francisco do we see what happens here. And guess what? Plenty of sales.
