Review by RWM: Exposure in a shameless kind of way. Interesting surprises and raw images. All sorts leads to overload. Nice to know that some of them hardbodies don't live that far away. Here are tales that may not be able to be told elsewhere. Objectification but with remediation and inspiration.
Comment by AB: More erectile tissue than you can shake a penis at. No matter how you like your erotica-- from classic and pin-up to on-the-edge and over-the-top-- you'll find it here. I wish I could show you proof, but you'll just have to take my word for it. You can always get on their mailing list for future events, though (the next one's coming up in February).

Astro Studios: Paintings i Painted - Sam Grant.
Comment by AB: San Grant's peculiar perspective on matters combines elements from many different sources in unexpected ways. Compositions include snippets from vintage comic books, fashion and products from the past, a skyscraper, jet planes, a kitty cat, a flying saucer, stocking feet, colorific geometric forms, and more. The dude paints in admirably creative ways. Check it out.

Southern Exposure: Paper/Cups - Drew Cameron and Ehren Tool.
Comment by AB: US Army veteran Drew Cameron's mission involves transforming military uniforms into handmade paper (called "Combat Paper"), paper which is then used to make art and art objects. The uniforms are provided by military veterans, the act of converting them into paper taking on symbolic meaning, cathartic significance and outright healing not only for the veterans, but also for their families and others who are close to them. Along similar lines, Iraq War veteran and former Marine Ehren Tool makes porcelain cups and embellishes them with military imagery. Definitely worth experiencing on both counts. Art can influence, enrich and improve how we live our lives in so many ways, and these are among the best ways I've seen in quite some time.
