San Francisco Art Institute: Think Art - Act Science.
Artists: Alexandre Joly, Christian Gonzenbach, Pe Lang, Wenfeng Liao, Alina Mnatsakanian, Monica Codourey, Roman Keller, Nicole Ottiger.
Comment by AB: This exhibition is a joint venture between the Swiss artists-in-labs program at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), Swissnex San Francisco, and the San Francisco Art Institute. It's an art-meets-science kinda deal with the artists creating their work around three main themes-- Ecology and Environment, Spatial Awareness and Emotions, and Exploration of New Technologies. Grounding in the sciences is helpful here but not absolutely necessary.

Project One Gallery: Mystified - Sergio Navarro-Duran.
Comment by AB: Sergio Navarro-Duran tells me the paintings as well as their sequence of installation spanning the entire gallery represent psychic manifestations and progression of a mystical spiritual experience as emanating from the figural representation at its center.
