Silverman Gallery: Edits - Jason Kraus.
Comment by AB: 500 drawings are contained in two locked boxes that sit on the gallery floor. Along the walls are framed paper remnants from the studio where the drawings were made and the large wooden table top they were drawn on. The boxes cannot be opened and their contents can only be purchased sight-unseen. Framed on the wall is an envelope containing the combinations to the locks on each box. The price of the envelope is the same as the price for the 500 drawings. The catch? The same person cannot buy both, but only one or the other. Kinda like it.

The Luggage Store Gallery: Hinterlands - New work by Nguyen Tran Nam, Nguyen Phuong Linh and Lu Yang.
Comment by AB: Cross-cultural exhibition of art and artists from Vietnam, Nha San (or Nhasan) Studio to be precise, an experimental arts space in Hanoi that was established in 1998 has been in existence longer than any similar studio in the country. Worth a visit.

111 Minna Gallery: New Works by Justin Lovato & Scott Greenwalt.
Comment by AB: Two artists riff on alternate realities, Scott Greenwalt in electric high-energy paintings, prints and works on paper, and Justin Lovato in delicate detailed works on paper, portions of which are done in ballpoint pen. Good art; check it out.
