Fifty24SF Gallery: Wolfbat - Dennis McNett.
Review by RWM: Interesting depictions of the wolf and other creatures that live in the wild, here brought inside. Usually dark and menacing, do such wild creatures belong in the city? For example, wild urban coyotes? They would be happy if we left them alone. These wolves and animals are guttural and expressive. Much attention has been paid to the subject; many of us are likely to relate.
Comment by AB: Beautifully executed block prints, rich in detail and decorative elements, plus several sculptures and dimensional works make this a show worth seeing.

Comment by AB: Wonderful whimsical works by accomplished Canadian illustrator Tara Krebs. According to the statement, there is a narrative and a relationshop between the works, but no text or hints to give anything away. Connecting these scenarios is up to the viewers. Good art; check it out.

White Walls & The Shooting Gallery: Mr Jago - New Coordinates; Reflexive - Poesia; From the Vault - Georgi Tchkhaidze.
Comment by AB: Vibrant expressionist abstractions by Mr. Jago fill the front gallery, diminutive modernist collages are interspersed with prodigious renditions of Old Master paintings accented with geometry by Poesia in the center gallery, and dramatic mixed-media works by Berlin artist Georgi Tchkhaidze blend classic imagery with contemporary flourishes hang in the left project space.
