Don Soker Gallery: New Acquisitions.
Artists: Pegan Brooke, Van Chang, Christel Dillbohner, Carole Jeung, Theodora Varnay Jones, Kanako Namura, Susanne Schossig, Gordon Senior, Gabrielle Thormann, Karin Wikstrom, Eleanor Wood.
Comment by AB: Group show, gallery selections, some new artists, others who've been with the gallery for years. I have to say that Don Soker is an entity unto himself, somehow surviving regardless of the challenges, decades in business, and in so doing, continuously reels off one of the most consistent cohesive exhibition repertoires in town.

Comment by AB: Yes, we've got a keyhole cinema complete with posted show schedule, located along a back alley in The Mission. It runs 24/7 so anytime you wanna stop by and catch a flick is fine. Tonight at the opening, the film fare is also being played on a screen in the adjoining garage, with sundry artistic memorabilia available for acquisition at attractively affordable prices.

Art Primo SF Gallery: Tough as Nails - Few & Far.
Artists: Erin Yoshi, KSera, Merlot, Erin Ashford, Agana, Miss Reds, Dime, MeMe, more.
Comment by AB: International female graffiti crew Few & Far puts their art and agenda out there that "all women should feel encouraged to do what they love, despite gender imbalances found throughout society." I couldn't agree more.
