Review by RWM: Naturalistic silhouettes of trees and birds by Ivy Jacobsen contrast with her pleasing color schemes. Nice pleasant work that can transport. Beautiful trips begin here... on the way to elsewhere.

The life forms by Tobias Tovera are fantastical capturing emotion and vitality. These creatures may be clouds that live in the sky; changing forms and expression. Or fire balloons or explosions with all manner of colors on display. Great chance to witness the energy.

Comment by AB: Tobias Tovera also collaborates with Abbey Glass, transforming his colorful compositions into couture fashion. A performance later in the evening features models decked out in his gowns, and everything looks good.

Comment by AB: Recent SFAI MFA's Nick Wildermuth and Daniel Jefferies share a shipping container which they've converted into a studio. Though both favor richly saturated palettes, they've created two distinct bodies of work along with several collaborative compositions as well.

Review by RWM: Nice to see the artistic vibrancy. The abstract works are vital and unanticipated. Great show of works that will live on one's walls. Unusual landscapes which defy our sense of scale. Some other works are playful and creative even if not representory. Nice work from a country which has good intentions and maybe solutions for others. Wonderful variety and diversity.
