Chandler Fine Art: Alexandra Frank - Homer's The Odyssey.

Review by RWM: Sad and somber seas symbolize a journey that changed the way we saw ourselves in the world. Fabulous work on display, but low key. Great trip experienced here presented by an observer. The sea was a mystery during this more fantastical time.

Cartoon Art Museum: Superman - A 75th Anniversary Celebration.

Artists: Fred Ray, John Sikela, Curt Swan, Neal Adams, John Byrne, Jerry Ordway, Jon Bogdanove, Tom Grummett, Jackson Guice, Dan Jurgens, many more.

Comment by AB: This extensive exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of the creation of Superman includes numerous original Superman Action Comics art and illustrations (comic book covers, pages and strips), vintage comic books, posters, broadsides, original art and illustrations from spin-off comic book series, and more. The illustrations are marvelously detailed, many complete with coloring and layout instructions, and really have to be seen in person to be appreciated.
