White Walls & The Shooting Gallery: The Unearthly Paintings - Niels Shoe Meulman; Floating World - KeFe (Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock); All Night Every Day - Mark Warren Jacques; Golden Hour - Meryl Pataky.
Comment by AB: Tonight's extravaganza at the urban art superstore features the "Calligraffiti" of Neils Shoe Meulman in the front gallery, an extensive selection of collaborative and solo works by the husband/wife team of KeFe (Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock), a cosmic mini-odyssey by Mark Warren Jacques in the right project space, and in the rear gallery, Meryl Pataky combines neon materials like pyrite, live succulents and rawhide in strikingly unexpected ways.

Mirus Gallery: The Inscending Spiral - by James Roper.
Comment by AB: Subject matters of James Roper's impressively intricate pencil drawings, executed in varying combinations of red, blue, black and green, range in subject matter from dissections of crashed automobiles to an MMA fighter. At first glance many of the images appear to be complete abstractions, but once you get in there and look, their subject matters are gradually revealed. Roper also constructs a mock-up of his studio and provides a green screen video set so that we viewers can magically insert ourselves into his life.

Comment by AB: In the main gallery, Lacey Bryant paints up an eerie forsaken reality in shambles. People still live there, but how much longer they'll survive is anybody's guess. In the rear gallery is a captivating display of tricked-out birdhouses.

Live Worms Gallery: Luka Dziubyna - The Dahmer Project; Ginnie Jester - New Tarot Deck.
Comment by AB: In the right half of the gallery, Ginnie Jester introduces her black & white tarot deck, the images consisting of montaged New York City subject matters. In the left half of the gallery, Luka Dziubyna themes his gruesome installation on the beyond-notorious life of Jeffrey Dahmer. Not for those who wax easily queasy.
