Lot 21 Gallery: Reuben Wu - Infinite Sustain.

Review by RWM: Amazing otherworldly photography show. You might wonder whether a UFO transported this artist elsewhere. Actually the work is done by using special films and techniques to heighten the experience of color. Some of the colors are not ones you would see in Nature on this planet. Wonderful show though which takes you to distant sites on the planet. Finding the alien here might quench your yearning to explore outer space. Our world is large, unpredictable and strange.

Comment by AB: Food photographer Michael Lamotte is a big fan of local producers, so much so that much of the food he photographs on his blog is courtesy of them. In addition, he links his images to their websites or contact information so that readers can see it first, and then go visit and buy direct. He tells me his photographs are in black & white so that the focus is on texture, pattern and shape rather than what it's usually on-- color. Nicely done.
