Comment by AB: Here's one that careens in from outta nowhere. Casey Cripe lays out his futuristic visions in profoundly complicated multi-panel compositions. Climate shift, politics, astronomy, anatomy, math, physics, chemistry, textual tidbits and plenty more. Cripe tells me that this is his first solo show. About as auspicious as a first show gets. I'd keep an eye on this dude... or maybe even plunk down some bucks and take a flier on his promise. Definitely worth seeing.

Truesilver Gallery: Fresh Paint - Leah Rosenberg.

Comment by AB: Technicolor tapestries of pure unadulterated paint, both hanging and draped, and in the process of drying, without any of those pesky encumbrances like canvas or panel to impede its freedom. Logistic, condition, and time considerations aside (aka whatever these oeuvres might look like in a few years... or maybe even next month... or maybe even tonight if you try to move one), the array makes for a contemplative and engaging visual. Plus there's delicious artist-baked layer cake. Check it out.
