Comment by AB: I'm not sure whether the fact that these paintings by Bay Area artist Yuh-Shioh Wong were created in the famed Texas art town of Marfa has any impact on their gravitas, but their effortlessness and fluid spontaneity are more than enough to satisfy.

Comment by AB: I can't say I'm overly impressed with this endeavor. There were standouts to be sure, but there was also no shortage of slapdash. I don't care how brilliant your concept, if you can't match it with a well thought out plan, deliberateness, technical skills and attention to every last detail, then it simply ain't gonna work. You can do better. Please email me to either augment or correct captions.
