Fifty24SF Gallery: Street Anatomy - Nychos.
Comment by AB: In a biological fervor, Austrian artist Nychos dissects pop culture icons. Ever wonder what the innards of Mickey Mouse and the Mutant Ninja Turtles look like? Nychos knows. Stop on by.

1AM Gallery: Xeme and Sinic - Made in China.
Comment by AB: Why am I not surprised that a significant percentage of the artworks by two Chinese graffiti artists are unapologetic appropriations of known photographs, consumer product packaging, logos and art by other artists?

The Performance Art Institute: Xavier MTW - Life in the 2nd Dimension.
Comment by AB: San Francisco's premier bedouin art venue, The Performance Art Institute, is now holding court at 120 Turk Street, its fourth location since opening on Sutter Street in the fall of 2009. The spacious, eerie, dimly lit interior features the art of Xavier MTW who's showing a selection of vibrant abstract paintings and sculptures interspersed with wildly pulsating light and video works that play mainly on boxy old televisions.
