Mark Wolfe Contemporary Art: Jordan Eagles - Haemoscuro.
Comment by AB: Jordan Eagles' medium of choice is animal blood, manipulated into abstract patterns and preserved under thick coats of resin. At first glance, the art looks to be two dimensional, but some consist of layered plexiglas panels each with a different abstract pattern, so when you get close up, you see the depth-- kinda cosmic & hypnotic. Stop on by.

Kokoro Studio: Rabid Viz - Courtney Johnson and Maysha Mohamedi.
Comment by AB: Contorted faces and oozing slime by Courtney Johnson offset rudimentary sculptures by Maysha Mohamedi. According to the fact sheet, the art manifests the artists' mutual interests. The connection between the two bodies of work is not immediately apparent, but if they say it's there, it's there. So let's compromise and call it conceptual collaboration.

Ever Gold Gallery: Yokonori Stone - Welcome to the Tenderloin.
Comment by AB: Yokonori Stone artfully homages a plethora of particularities peculiar to our City by the Bay. Her amusing works on paper include tributes to Ron Turner, my hands, the San Francisco Giants, Barry McGee, beach folk, Gavin Newsom, S&M, Coit Tower and quite a bit more. Check it out.
