The Shooting Gallery: Bedtime Stories, From the Crib to the Crypt - Jack Howe.
Review by Mairead O'Connor: There is something a little eerie about this artwork. Fragments indicating different parts of a story are displayed on a rusted bedframe; a bed being the place where life begins and ends. There are many layers to this work.
Comment by AB: Jack Howe mines the flea markets of Santa Cruz for the offbeat artifacts that inhabit his altar-like innerspring assemblages. Check 'em out. Yummy!
