ArtSpan at SOMArts: ArtSpan's Annual Benefit Art Auction 2012.

Comment by AB: Over 150 works of art are up for auction tonight with proceeds going to benefit all ArtSpan programs including Art for City Youth and San Francisco Open Studios, the city's largest yearly free visual arts event featuring over 800 artists. The good news? Plenty of action and loads of sold art-- both live and silent auctions.

Comment by AB: Soup-to-nuts art and music extravaganza, largely urban in flavor, at this expansive two-floor venue. A panoply of artists represent, display and hopefully sell their own art. Doors open at 3pm and close at 4am. Whew!
