Telegraph Hill Gallery: Truong Tran - I Meant to Say, Please Pass the Sugar...

Comment by AB: Truong Tran cuts photographs from gay porn magazines and "nature calendars" into 9000 butterflies, and then assembles them into inspiring uplifting works of art. You only see the inspiring uplifting part at first glance, but when you zoom in close you realize the confrontational thought-provoking essence of it all.
