Hedge Gallery: Christophe Côme - Alchemies.
Comment by AB: Wrought iron and glass works by Paris furniture designer Christophe Côme include screens, lighting, cabinets and tables. They look so effortless, but if you think about the logistics and challenges involved in their fabrication, you're left with no option but respect. Hedge Gallery consistently exhibits top shelf furnishings and decorative arts by internationally renowned artists and artisans. Always worth a visit.

Romer Young Gallery: Anna Sew Hoy - Tissues and Trench Coats.
Comment by AB: A two-parter here. Anna Sew Hoy excises everything but the seams from trench coats and then hangs 'em on custom ceramic hangars. That's part one. Part two is that she makes kick-ass ceramic and powder-coated steel tissue dispensers to rival any in the history of tissue dispensers of all time and in all planar dimensions. I'm not sure what the connection between the two aspects of this show are other than the title, however I suppose if you wake up one morning and discover to your dismay that someone's de-trenched your trench coat, you've got easy kleenex access to wipe away those tears. I'm a fan.
