Artists: Over seventy.

Comment by AB: Graffiti art on the sides of trucks-- and plenty of it-- is the subject of this exceptionally crowded fundraiser. Proceeds benefit Visual Element, the public arts component of Oakland's EastSide Art Alliance.

Queens Nails Projects: Assed Out and the Mini Dramas - Guy Overfelt and Andrew McClintock.

Comment by AB: The ceiling is festooned with balloons, so many, so dense and so low that you have to bend down to move around. Yes, it's uncomfortable, and yes, it smells very balloony, but hey-- it's all in the name of art. A pool table sits in the center of the front gallery; an anyone-can-enter tournament is in progress. In the rear gallery, attendees enjoy a sound and music performance.
