Comment by AB: This month's artful episode at the White Walls / Shooting Gallery Quadraplex features kaleidoscopic cascades color by Jet Martinez in the two main spaces, crazy rainbow crochet by Olek covering the entire interior of the front right project room, animal sculptures made from toy soldiers and guns by Melanie Alves in the rear right project room, and fancifully imaginative altered antique books by Kerry Miller. Worth seeing.

Comment by AB: The show statement consists of a freeflowing stream-of-consciousness poem which perfectly reflects the art itself in this controlled meander of a group/solo smorgasbord. I kinda like it, especially the stitched/dyed/painted canvas works by Alexander Wolff.

Comment by AB: A phalanx of wood sculptures-- cult, drilled, altered and painted 2x4s and 4x4s-- claim a corner of the gallery floor while Mary MacDougall's glazed tile grids and frenetic works on paper grace the walls.
