NOMA Gallery: The Women - Jennifer Dudley, Lane Arthur, Jeffrey Stuker.
Comment by AB: Three New York City artists conjure up an exhibition construct and layout intended to approximate one you might see at a museum of art or history. A couple of peppy little graphite drawings by Jennifer Dudley tip my scales, but it's all good here. Imparting a mild degree of whiplash to the dealie bob is the fact that the show's called "The Women," but one of 'em is a dude. (Now there's some incisive art criticism for ya.)

Grant's Tomb Art Crypt, 50-A Bannam Place, San Francisco, CA 94133: Winston Smith - No Frills, No Frames, No Strings Attached!!
Comment by AB: Inside the beltway art party, dense with hipsters and counterculture luminaries, thrown by Art Crypt principal Winston Smith. Decades worth of Winston Smith art for sale for $20 and up. And plenty of it's only $20. More fun than a barrel of monkeys.
