Comment by AB: Some of Ben Peterson's stark industrial-grade clay sculptures look like obsolete machine parts while others mimic modernist architectural forms. He paints and finishes them to accentuate impressions of age, corrosion and wear. Illusion complete. Well done and worth a visit.

Comment by AB: Philadelphia artist Jaime Brett Treadwell conjures up inconceivable kaleidoscopic realities, vast vacant expanses populated with mystical living breathing luminescent geometric forms. As a shout-out to Fisherman's Wharf, Waikiki, Las Vegas and all those other bastions of art for the populace, and just to make sure no one's taking his deal too seriously including Treadwell himself, he intermittently accents his compositions with snippets of imagery from some of the giants of mainstream mass-market art. Good art; check it out.

Comment by AB: The watchword here is weird. The ground rules? Combine dissections of perfectly ordinary figures, objects, mechanical devices, animals and architecture into twisted otherworld entities. Strangest amalgam wins.

Comment by AB: Tonight's peephole feature by Los Angeles artist j.frede stars an hourglass placed at various locations, trickling sand for a period of 24-hours per location, the cumulative events compacted into a one-hour video.
