Comment by AB: Julie Chang combines traditional motifs ad decorative elements from various cultures into ornamental and pattern works. Chinese influences as well as marbleization techniques are prominent in Crystal Liu's abstracted landscapes which also refer to emotional states.

Comment by AB: In this exciting episode of Ersatz Objects, Chris Thorson arts up a set of fake kiddie sticker scrapbooks and bogus hand mirrors. Always good. In the rear gallery, Maria Forde shares her wisdom and observations on classic Western films via pithy captioned graphite drawings.
