Patricia Sweetow Gallery: Cornelia Schulz & Carrie Lederer
Comment by AB: In the front gallery, small-format paintings by Cornelia Schulz are so thick and rich, you wanna eat 'em right up. Paint sweet as frosting. In the rear gallery, Carrie Lederer's imaginative intertwined plant forms liken nature to bliss. Good show on both counts. Recommended.

Brian Gross Fine Art: Teo Gonzlez - Arch/Horizon
Comment by AB: Multitudes of circles and dots atop uniformly gradated bands of color beget unique topographical experiences. Stop on by.

Ever Gold [Projects]: Marc Horowitz - "You can't do that to them," the wiser, older Architect said.
Comment by AB: Themed on the concept of the "glitch" as in defect, error or malfunction, Marc Horowitz makes a reasonably persuasive case that these so-called unfortunate occurrences may also be portals to new says of seeing, thinking, believing and experiencing. Like it.

Eleanor Harwood Gallery: James Chronister - Glass Summers
Comment by AB: James Chronister takes us on amazingly photorealistic black & white treks deep into the woods. We're invited to experience the sounds of the forest as well. I'll get to that as soon as I de-immerse myself from the visuals. This one's a yes.

Jack Fischer Gallery: Juan Carlos Quintana - hoodwink by didactix
Comment by AB: A super-sized pure chaos commentary on the non-stop pandemonium of social and political life and characters of today. Pick your poison and dive on in. Check it out.

Euqinom Projects: SOME SORT- Dana Harel, Andranne Michon, Jacqueline Sherlock Norheim. Curated by Lyla Rose Holdstein.
Comment by AB: No one's sure what it is, but everyone's sure that it is. In the media room, Christina Seely's video installation, "terra systema . tempo," arranges a face-off between the rainforest and Greenland's ice sheet. And we're all sandwiched in between.
