Haines Gallery: John Chiara - Lands End, California at Larkin
Comment by AB: John Chiara builds his own jumbo cameras, hauls them around on the back of a flatbed truck, and photographs unique time-exposure images directly onto photosensitive paper. The two series on exhibit here are of scenes at Lands End and around downtown-- mysterious, otherworldly and atmospheric in appearance. Definitely recommended.

Gregory Lind Gallery: Seth Koen - Waver
Comment by AB: The most delicate and finely carved and sanded wood and graphite sculptures imaginable. Seriously. Sometimes left unfinished, other times painted, dyed, or combined with intricately crocheted thread. Go see.
