Comment by AB: SFMOMA Artists Gallery is transformed into a Victorian era museum of sorts, chocked with mysterious and arcane rarities and minutiae of the highly imaginative variety. Abstract fabric bats hang from the ceiling, artists and their guests dress for the occasion, live opera singing filters down from balcony, and an outdoor concerto courtesy of The Grannies gets unplugged (apparently way too much for the meditative patrons of the Zen Center's Greens restaurant, just a few steps away). Nevertheless, a fine time is had by all. If you haven't been to the SFMOMA Artists Gallery lately, check it out-- new management ushers in a peppy new agenda of creative entertainment.

Kokoro Studio: Something Left, Something Taken - Ru Kuwahata and Max Porter.
Comment by AB: Tonight's opening features the animated short film set in San Francisco by Ru Kuwahata and Max Porter called Something Left, Something Taken. The items used to create the animated effects are on exhibit around the room. Loads of hard work went into this production yielding eminently gratifying results. See this film if you have a chance. You won't be disappointed.
