San Francisco Arts Commission: Chain Reaction 12
Artists: Justine Rivas, Lauren Strom-Berg, May Wilson, Jonn Herschend, Lindsey White, Jean Conner, Chad Hasegawa, Francesco Igory Deiana, David Bayus, Catherine Wagner, Brion Nuda Rosch, Binta Ayofemi, Anne McGuire, Wayne Smith, Bruno Fazzolari, Taraneh Hemami, Omar Mismar, James Gobel, Craig Calderwood, Nicki Green, Julz Hale Mary.
Comment by AB: The official rules state that a group of seven "selectors" (Alter Space, Rene de Guzman, The Luggage Store, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Margaret Tedesco, Maysoun Wazwaz, Rhiannon MacFadyen) starts the ball rolling by each selecting a San Francisco artist. Those artists in turn each select another San Francisco artist who in turn each select another San Francisco artist. Now you've got a grand total of 21 artists and a show. Worth a visit.

Comment by AB: Colonialism has displaced millions of people over the centuries, mainly in the name of "civilization." Sad but true. Those most victimized during these low points in history are being remembered here.
