Comment by AB: This retrospective survey focuses on the figure in Richard Misrach's photography, from its first appearance to the present day. Perhaps Misrach's greatest skill is his ability to portray the insignificance of man against vast expanses of land and sea. Now if man could only take his insignificance to heart and stop trying to control the show all the time, life might be substantially more civilized and bearable. But alas, reality rules doesn't it? Good show; go see.
