Comment by AB: Playful puffy fabric constructions look like plush toys from another planet. They actually contain bits of rare earth minerals among the stuffing, the kinds used in the manufacture of hi-tech electronics so essential to our lives. Whimsical meets ominous. Like it.

Comment by AB: Treat yourself to stripes and plaids of the wildest variety by Steven Vasquez, and intricate gridded ink-line drawings that look like psychedelic screens. Also on the docket are William Edwards' circular ceramic disks with sumptuous glazes that give the appearance of exotic frosted cookies or cakes. Good show on both counts.
