Canessa Gallery: Donn Curry - Go To Little Pieces.

Comment by AB: Portland, Oregon artist Donn Curry tells me that every painting in the show is directly related to a particular soundtrack on a particular Pixies album (if I recall correctly), which happens to be playing in the background. So that's the basic grok on the situation there. As for Canessa Gallery, Curry says owner Zach Stewart dedicates the main space in the building to showing art (there's also office space available, at least according to the website). Not really sure how the curatorial or selection process works, but I suppose if you're interested, you can email the gallery. It's an intimate atmospheric space; no queston about that.
