    Fivepoints Arthouse: Reflection Seen.

Artists: Manuel Angeja, Kelly Correll Brown, Jamie Nelson, James Seevers.

Comment by AB: I ask about commonalities in the work and am told that the artists all went to school together. Fair enough.

Gallery Hijinks: Sanguine Machine, Antediluvian Artifacts From Futures Past - Beau Stanton.

Review by Clare Coppel: These works by Beau Stanton might be characterized as representations of a Victorian Southern Gothic Old West with a mystical twist. If this was a novel I'd read it.

Review by Mairead O'Connor: Beau Stanton's beautifully detailed and kaleidoscopic work is proudly presented in his first solo show. A new venture for him, the installation pieces are my favorite.

Gallery Heist: Susan Wu - Pussy Money Weed.

Review by Mairead O'Connor: Susan Wu's debut solo show is very well received. Her work explores concepts and categorizations of national identity.

The Shooting Gallery: Ephemera - New Work by Pedro Matos.

Review by Mairead O'Connor: Pedro Matos is a portrait artist who has a wonderful eye. He captures his subjects in a tender and honest light. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, his works certainly have a modern European feel. FYI, he's only twenty years old.

White Walls Gallery: It Finds You - New Works by Jess Hess.

Review by Mairead O'Connor: Jessica Hess is truly inspired by her surroundings. Her vibrant colorful pieces depict graffiti writers' tags. She is drawn to contemporary counterculture and urban decay.

Comment by AB: The show includes painted ceramic spray can and paint can collaborations with porcelain artist Christa Assad.
