The Dryansky Gallery: Paul Madonna - Close Enough for the Angels

Comment by AB: Art show by Paul Madonna features original pen, ink and wash illustrations created for his new novel Close Enough for the Angels, all of which were done during the course of his travels in Thailand, Japan and China between 2010 and 2016. Fifty hand-bound limited edition copies of the novel are also available for purchase. Stop on by. Good art especially if you appreciate atmospheric yet accurate architectural drawings.

Romer Young Gallery: Kirk Stoller - go ahead and pass go

Comment by AB: The show's statement is certainly one way of looking at it, but the way I see it, Kirk Stoller fashions found odds & ends, as-is and with minimal modifications, into entirely estimable sculptures.

Jules Maeght Gallery: Signed & Numbered; All About Photo Awards Exhibition

Artists: Sharaine Bell, Eduardo Chillida, Jean Cortot, Marco Del Re, Luc Doerflinger, Olivier Gagnre, Ccile Granier de Cassagnac, Ra'anan Levy, Dan Miller, Pierre Roy-camille, Antoni Tpies.

All About Photo photographers: Julien Chatelin, Jackson Patterson, Tadao Cern, Simona Bonanno, Teri Havens.

Comment by AB: The Maeght family has been in the art business in France for a really long time, like since the 1930s, a benefit of which is that thanks to them, we get to see quality examples of European art and artists that we would not ordinarily see. This show consist mainly of editions, but originals are included.
