Mark Wolfe Contemporary Art: Living Shrouds - Davide Coltro.
Comment by AB: Milan, Italy artist Davide Coltro shows a line of rather somber and heavily muted black and white portraits, 100 in all, combined with a video monitor that morphs one portrait into the next. The show is called "Living Shrouds," I feel like I'm in a mortuary, and that, as they say, is that.

Mission Comics and Art: Escape From Dullesville - Andy Ristaino.
Review by RWM: Amazing fantastical landscapes depicted imaginatively with style and detail. One cannot help but be intrigued by the odd locals, and can escape here to a different realm. Beware of the horrific, but there is also magic and beauty.

Triple Base Gallery: J.B. Blunk Residency Group Show.
Artists: Lynne Riding, Alicia Escott, Julia Goodman, Max Lamb, Gemma Holt.
Comment by AB: So the deal is that there's this place way out in the wilds of Inverness, somewhere near the middle of the Bishop Pine Nature Preserve-- a serene sustainable independent off-the-grid-style environment-- where artists can go to live, work, create and perhaps figure out how to make things just an itsy bitsy bit better for the rest of us.
